Drama. Action. Fantasy
Bre has written scripts of all types since the age of six. Though she prefers writing features, she also likes to write short screenplays and the ocassional teleplay. Most of her scripts fall into the Drama and Action genres. Bre describes her writing as a "fast-paced, cinematic style that mixes clean, tight scenes with explosive energy."
In May 2019, Bre graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with an MA in English and Creative Writing: Screenwriting. For her thesis, she revised and expanded on an old 2009 screenplay called Behind Blind Eyes (BBE), which capitalized on her professional dance background to inform the choreography, terminology, and world presented.
Another notable work written between 2018 and 2019 is For the Throne, a short screenplay teaser for the much bigger Warriors (WAR), a fantasy-action screenplay that depicts a world of magic, battle, and sacrifice.
Future projects include: the revision of a Drama TV series called Tallon Lake; the revision and continuation of the Warriors series, which comprises three feature screenplays; and a Drama feature called Survival, which retells the life of an African-American gangmember who seeks redemption for his vices through the diary he left behind twenty years after his death -- for his son.
